YEREVAN, July 2. /ARKA/. Artsrun Hovhannisyan is appointed as a spokesman for Defense Ministry of Armenia by the decree of the Minister, the press service reports.

Hovhannisyan was born in Tsogamarg village of Shirak region of Armenia in 1980. Started serving in armed forces in 1997, in 2001 he graduated from Military Institute after V. Sargsyan, in 2012- received Master’s degree in History at International Research Center of Armenian National Academy of Science.

He has a number of scientific articles and monographs.

Hovhannisyan is married and has two daughters. -0-
