Caucasus Nature Fund allocates $12.400 to conduct research on fish stocks in Lake Sevan

The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has provided $12.400 to Armenia to conduct research on fish stocks in Lake Sevan and other waters.

YEREVAN, April 22. /ARKA/. The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has provided $12.400 to Armenia to conduct research on fish stocks in Lake Sevan and other waters.
The fund is implementing the program in cooperation with the Armenian nature protection ministry. The funds will be allocated to the Scientific Center for Zoology and Hydroecology affiliated to the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia for the purchase of the software package necessary for the use of a modern sonar system for the study of fish stocks in Lake Sevan and other waters.
According to the press service of the fund, an appropriate support agreement has been concluded between CNF Executive Director George Giacomini and the head of the Scientific Center for Zoology and Hydroecology Bardukh Gabrielyan.
It is noted that the Caucasus Nature Fund, in cooperation with the nature protection ministry, will continue supporting the process of preserving effectively the rare biodiversity of Armenia. --0--
