Caucasus Nature Fund provides Armenia with 500,000 euro grant to assist in fighting coronavirus

The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has provided Armenia with a new grant in the amount of 500 thousand euros to assist in the fight against coronavirus.
YEREVAN, July 10. /ARKA/. The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has provided Armenia with a new grant in the amount of 500 thousand euros to assist in the fight against coronavirus.
According to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, the new grant agreement on budget support was remotely signed on Friday by Avinyan and CNF Executive Director George Giacomini.
In accordance with the agreement, the grant will be aimed to finance the needs of the Dilijan National Park, Lake Arpi National Park, Khosrov Forest Reserve and Zangezur Biosphere Reserve.
For more than 10 years now, the Caucasus Nature Fund has been supporting specially protected areas in Armenia by co-financing current expenses. During this period, the Fund has provided Armenia with more than 5 million euros in assistance. --0--
