Central streets and Republic Square in Yerevan will be closed for traffic December 18-21

A section of downtown Nalbandyan Street in Yerevan running from Sakharov Square to Republic Square, as well as a section between the fountains and the decorative ornament in the center of the square will be closed for traffic on December 18-21, the Yerevan Municipality said.

A section of downtown Nalbandyan Street in Yerevan running from Sakharov Square to Republic Square, as well as a section between the fountains and the decorative ornament in the center of the square will be closed for traffic on December 18-21, the Yerevan Municipality said.
It said the street and part of the square will be closed in connection with the preparations for the switching the lights on the New Year Tree on Republic Square. On December 21 the Republic Square will be closed from 18:30 until the end of the event.
Besides, a section of Abovyan Street from the intersection with Tumanyan Street to Republic Square, part of Amiryan Street from the intersection with Zakyan Street to Republic Square, part of Vazgen Sargsyan Street from Shahumyan Square to Republic Square, and also part of Tigran Mets Avenue from the crossroad with Melik-Adamyan Street to Republic Square will be closed.-0-
