Criminal case launched into illegal privatization of Yerevan kindergartens

Armenia’s Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan told the parliament today that a criminal case was launched into the privatization of five Yerevan kindergartens.
YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan told the parliament today that a criminal case was launched into the privatization of five Yerevan kindergartens.
His remarks came in response to a question from MP Edmon Marukyan from the Bright Armenia faction who wanted to know if there was a possibility of returning a number of previously privatized kindergartens to the government.
Armenian news media reports previously questioned the legality of the privatization of a number of Yerevan kindergartens.
The Prosecutor General expressed hope that the privatized kindergartens could be returned to the state. –0-
