Dutch Foreign Ministry allocates 200 thousand euros to Armenia to help combat coronavirus

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will allocate 200 thousand euros to Armenia for purchase of equipment necessary for combating coronavirus, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

YEREVAN, July 10. /ARKA/. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will allocate 200 thousand euros to Armenia for purchase of equipment necessary for combating coronavirus, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

It said under  an agreement signed July 9 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the Ministry of Health of Armenia, the money will be spent on purchase of three PCR testing devices, 100 hospital monitors and one biological security camera from Armenian companies.

It said the order for shipment of the equipment has been placed and it will arrive in Armenia in the coming days.
Armenian health authorities have reported 557 new cases of Covid-19 over the last 24 hours saying their total number has reached 30,903. According to the Health Ministry, 11 people have died from coronavirus, bringing the death toll from the infection to 546. 

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 131,216 tests for coronavirus have been performed. Also, some 18,709 patients have recovered and 11,471 patients continue treatment. -0-
