Electricity prices for all consumers in Armenia will not change in 2024

YEREVAN, December 27. /ARKA/. Electricity prices for all categories of consumers in Armenia will remain unchanged after February 1, 2024, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) said today.
"After analyzing all positive and negative factors affecting the prices, it was determined that there is no need to revise the prices for the electricity supplied to consumers by the Electric Networks of Armenia company , and the current prices for all consumers will remain unchanged," the PSRC said in a statement.
The PSRC said also that it has initiated a revision of prices for large generating power plants and companies providing services in the electric power system setting new prices.
Currently, the socially disadvantaged families (about 11% of all consumers) pay AMD 29.99 during the day and AMD 19.99 at night for each kWh. The price for other categories of households is AMD 44.98 and AMD 34.98 respectively.
The prices for legal entities (enterprises) range from 41.98 to 50.48 drams during daytime hours and from 37.98 to 40.48 drams at night hours. ($1 - AMD 405.2). --0--
