Families of killed servicemen and disable servicemen will be provided with housing

Families of the Armenian army servicemen who were killed while on duty as well as servicemen who received first group disability while on duty will be provided with housing until the end of December 2017, defense minister Vigen Sargsyan said at a Q&A session in the parliament.

Families of the Armenian army servicemen who were killed while on duty as well as servicemen who received first group disability while on duty will be provided with housing until the end of December 2017, defense minister Vigen Sargsyan said at a Q&A session in the parliament.
He said this decision applies to families living in Yerevan, who will receive also monetary compensations. Similar families and servicemen living outside the capital city will receive monetary compensations and apartment certificates.
The minister recalled an order by president Serzh Sargsyan to solve the housing problems of the families of the servicemen, killed while on duty as well as of soldiers who received first group disability while on duty within three years.
The minister said the funds were raised from redistribution of the part of the off-budget money of the Police and the problem will be resolved before the end of this year. -0--
