French cancer treatment center opens in Armenian capital

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part today in the opening ceremony of the French Cancer Treatment Center in Yerevan, the press service of the mayor's office reported.

YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part today in the opening ceremony of the French Cancer Treatment Center in Yerevan, the press service of the mayor's office reported. It said the ceremony was also attended by a prominent French doctor-oncologist of Armenian origin Norbert Avetyan.
The Center, which is a joint initiative of the Norman Foundation and Norbert Avetyan, will treat cancer patients in accordance with European standards and with the application of professional methods of Avetyan.
The participants of the opening ceremony noted that people suffering from this serious disease will no longer have to go abroad for effective treatment. The center is provided with modern equipment necessary to provide high-quality medical services. The center will also help vulnerable families with cancer patients by facilitating the search for financial resources. -0-
