Passenger traffic through Armenia’s airports grows 9.1% in Jan 2018

Passenger traffic through Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport and Gyumri’s Shirak Airport grew 9.1% in January 2018, compared with the same month a year before, to 189,177 people, the press office of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia reported on Thursday.

Passenger traffic through Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport and Gyumri’s Shirak Airport grew 9.1% in January 2018, compared with the same month a year before, to 189,177 people, the press office of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia reported on Thursday.
Passenger traffic through Zvartnots alone was 178,301 people in January – 5.7% more than in the same month a year earlier.
Freight traffic through Zvartnots was recorded at 892 tons in January 2018 against 965 tons in January 2017.
Shirak Airport accounted for 10,876 passengers in January 2018 against 4,624 in the same month one year earlier.
The number of takeoffs and landings has increased 11% over one year. --0---
Passenger traffic through Zvartnots alone was 178,301 people in January – 5.7% more than in the same month a year earlier.
