Rains with thunderstorms and a drop in temperatures by 5-7 degrees Celsius are expected across Armenia this week, the National Weather Service said.

YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. Rains with thunderstorms and a drop in temperatures by 5-7 degrees Celsius are expected across Armenia this week, the National Weather Service said.

Short rains with thunderstorms are expected on June 5, 8 and 9 after noon in some parts of the country and in most of the regions on June 6-7. The windd will speed up to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

The temperatures on June 6-7 will decrease by 3-5 degrees in Lori, Tavush and Syunik provinces, and by 5-8 degrees in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

A slight decrease in temperature is also expected in the capital Yerevan this week with rains and thunderstorms . On Monday afternoon the temperature will rise to 30-32 degrees and drop to 23-25 degrees iIn the evening. Tuesday will be almost as warm: 29-31 degrees during the daytime and 22-24 degrees in the evening.

The temperature will fall by 4-5 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday to 25-26 degrees during the daytime and to 20-22 degrees by the end of the day. Friday will warm to 27-29 degrees during the day and 22-24 degrees in the evening. --0--
