YEREVAN, October 17. /ARKA/. The major repair of a part of Yerevan-Sevan highway was completed in a record time, the press service of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies informed.

It said the repair involved two sections, stretching from 36th km to 57th km and from 57th km to 64th km of the same route in reverse direction and, according to the schedule, was to be completed at the end of November. However, the repair was completed earlier - on October 10. Traffic on the highway is now fully restored.

The high quality of the repair work was evidenced by the results of laboratory experiments, technical controllers' reviews, as well as by the minister Vahan Martirosyan.

The repair was planned to begin in July, but because of the tourist season and the inconveniences for drivers, it was launched on August 28. -0-
