The government of Armenia decided today to continue paying monthly assistance to 38 residents of the villages of Shurnukh and Vorotan in the southern region of Syunik.

YEREVAN, October 19. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia decided today to continue paying monthly assistance to 38 residents of the villages of Shurnukh and Vorotan in the southern region of Syunik.
They are the residents, whose houses came under the control of the Azerbaijani side after the 44-day war in 2020. The assistance will be provided until December 2023, according to the decision.
Earlier, these residents were given a one-time assistance of 300 thousand drams, as well as 68 thousand drams monthly. They will receive the assistance until the government builds new 13 houses for them.
The commissioning of the houses has been postponed several times, and the payments have been extended accordingly. ($1 - 401.67
