The public opinion poll by Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) showed unemployment and poverty are the main challenges in Armenia today.
YEREVAN, April 22. /ARKA/. The public opinion poll by Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) showed unemployment and poverty are the main challenges in Armenia today.
Director of CRRC – Armenia Heghine Manasyan said these two problems were mentioned by 45% and 16% of respondents respectively.
The same problems were pinpointed by respondents in Georgia, but in a different proportion – unemployment was considered the main challenge by 54 % and poverty by 10%.
Territorial issued were mentioned as main problem by 38% and unemployment by 25% of respondents in Azerbaijan, according to the report.
But level of happiness in all three countries assessed using a 10-point scale is relatively high – 6.7 points in Armenia, 6.6 points in Azerbaijan and 7 points in Georgia.
The poll was conducted by the CRRC among 6,000 households in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia from October 26 to November 21, 2013. –0—
