Due to the state of emergency, some airlines have decided to temporarily cancel the service of certain destinations in Armenia and abroad, the press service of the Armenian government said.

YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. Due to the state of emergency, some airlines have decided to temporarily cancel the service of certain destinations in Armenia and abroad, the press service of the Armenian government said.

Thus canceled:

Armenia Airways flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, providing air transportation from Armenia to Iran until March 31 inclusive, as well as from April 1 to 30;

Armenia Airways flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays serving Yerevan-Anapa-Yerevan routes on March 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 23, 26, 30, and also from April 2 to 13;

Ryanair flights serving flights from Armenia to Rome and Milan and vice versa, from March 14 to April 8 inclusive;

Airline Armenia flights serving Tbilisi-Yerevan-Moscow/Vnukovo/-Yerevan-Tbilisi flights on March 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31 and April 1,2,3,4,5 (excluding flights 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 March and April 1,2,3,4,5);

Airline Armenia flights operating the Yerevan-Lyon-Yerevan route on March 23, 30 and April 2, 6, 9, 13, as well as the Yerevan-Tel Aviv-Yerevan route on March 26, 29 and April 2, 5, 16, 28;

Qatar Airways flights serving Doha-Yerevan-Doha flights March 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 and 31;

Belavia Airlines flights in the direction Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk on March 18, 19 and fromMarch 31 to April 5 and on April 14;

Ural Airways flights in the direction Yekaterinburg-Yerevan-Yekaterinburg on March 11, 18, 25, 29-31, March 2, 5-7, 9, 12-14, 16, 19-21, 23, 26-28 and April 30;

Air Cairo flights to Sharm El Sheikh-Yerevan-Sharm El Sheikh on March 12, and also from March 19 to March 31;

Air Arabia flights from March 17 to March 28 (excluding flights on March 18 and 20);

All flights of LOT Polish Airlines to Warsaw-Yerevan-Warsaw until March 28;

International Ukrainian Airlines flights in the direction Kiev-Yerevan-Kiev on March 17, 18, 19, 29, 30, 31, and on April 1;

Middle East Airlines flights to Beirut-Yerevan-Beirut March 21, 24;

All flights from Flydubai to Dubai-Yerevan-Dubai from March 18 to 31t, except March 23 and 30;

Flights of SkyUp Airlines in the direction of Kiev-Yerevan-Kiev on March 20, 23 and 27;

Austrian Airlines scheduled flights to all directions from March 18, including Yerevan;

All Brussels Airlines flights from March 21 to April 19.

“Given the workload and the emergency, the Civil Aviation Committee will try to update the cancellation schedule whenever possible. At the same time, we urge you to be in constant contact with the airlines,” the message says.

According to the latest reports, there are 78 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Armenia.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Armenia was confirmed on March 1. The patient has already recovered and let out from the hospital. Among those infected are Armenian citizens from Iran and Italy (residents of Yerevan, Echmiadzin, Meghri and Charentsavan), people in contact with them, as well as one Italian citizen and a visitor from France. The vast majority of those infected, including one schoolchild, are residents of Echmiadzin.
On March 16, the government of Armenia declared a 30-day state of emergency to prevent the spread of coronavirus. --0---
