Yerevan Council of Elders has approved today new benefits and extension of the validity period of public transport packages at Tuesday's session with 33 votes in favor and 17 against.

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. Yerevan Council of Elders has approved today new benefits and extension of the validity period of public transport packages at Tuesday's session with 33 votes in favor and 17 against.

One-day and one-week packages have been made unlimited. Also, the validity period of a 300 dram ticket for 3 trips was extended from 90 to 180 minutes. The validity term of a 10-trip package has been increased from 30 days to 45 days.

Pensioners and beneficiaries of allowances who are not registered in Yerevan will also enjoy discounts. Children with disabilities and parents of 4 or more children of any age are entitled to free trips.

These changes will come into force on March 1.-0-
