Armenia’s wrestler Arthur Alexanyan wins gold of European Championship

Arthur Alexanyan, Armenian Greko-Roman wrestler, won the gold medal at the European Wrestling Championship in Tbilisi defeating Bulgaria’s Vladislav Metodiev.

YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. Arthur Alexanyan, Armenian Greko-Roman wrestler, won the gold medal at the European Wrestling Championship in Tbilisi defeating Bulgaria’s Vladislav Metodiev.

Aexanyan reached the final as he defeated wrestlers from Sweden, Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The  21-year wrestler is the current champion of Europe and the bronze medalist of the Olympic games.  -0-
