Two Armenian boxers - Ruslan Aslikyan (57 kg) and Artur Shahpazyan (63, 5 kg) – have reached the finals in the European U-22 Boxing Championships in Croatia and will compete for the gold medals on March 23.

YEREVAN, March 22. /ARKA/. Two Armenian boxers - Ruslan Aslikyan (57 kg) and Artur Shahpazyan (63, 5 kg) – have reached the finals in the European U-22 Boxing Championships in Croatia and will compete for the gold medals on March 23.

Aslikyan defeated Turkey's Tair Hakoyun in the semi-final bout, and will face Italy's Michel Baldas in the finals.

Artur Shahpazyan (63.5 kg) defeated Jalal Gurbanov of Azerbaijan 4-1 in the semifinals. Shahpazyan's rival is Turkish Ozmen Kerim, who won the silver medal at the World Championships in Belgrade in November. -0-
