Innovation center for Iranian high-tech products may be established in Armenia

YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan received on Wednesday an Iranian delegation led by Razieh Kohansal, head of the Tech Export Services Corridor at the Office of Iranian Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported.
It said the delegation included heads of 16 Iranian companies. At the meeting the sides discussed issues related to the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries and increasing trade turnover.
The Iranian side proposed to consider the possibility of establishing a technological and innovation center in Armenia, where Iranian high-tech products could be showcased.
Expressing readiness to cooperate with the Iranian side, Gevorgyan spoke about the assistance provided by the government of Armenia to the companies, particularly, introduction of the latest technologies in the companies and encouraging the involvement of highly qualified specialists. -0-
