Armenia has become a best holiday destination for many Russian tourists who can not afford expensive vacationing, travel.rambler.ru reported citing the data from Skyscanner.

The ranking of cheap holiday destinations for Russian tourists was compiled by Skyscanner experts on the basis of a study of guidebooks, Internet forums, cost of food and accommodation.
The cheapest countries with lowest hotel prices, meals, accommodation and transportation are in South-East Asia - India ($45 for two persons), followed by Indonesia, Nepal and Vietnam, Laos and Sri Lanka. Traveling in Cambodia is more expensive - about $70. Other countries are Abkhazia ($65), Armenia ($70) and Georgia ($ 80).
The third group of available countries is in Eastern Europe - Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania and Hungary ($70 to $ 85). In drawing up the list the cost of air travel was not calculated because of Russia's size- tickets prices vary depending on the region. -0-
