Georgian Airways doubles the frequency of flights from Tbilisi to Yerevan

Georgian Airways has increased the frequency of flights from Tbilisi to Yerevan, Armenia, from seven to 14, Georgia’s Civil Aviation Authority said, according to TASS.

YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. Georgian Airways has increased the frequency of flights from Tbilisi to Yerevan, Armenia, from seven to 14, Georgia’s Civil Aviation Authority said, according to TASS.
The move comes after a Russian government ban on direct flights between Russia and Georgia went into force on July 8.
“From now on, the Georgian Airways will be operating 14 regular flights a week from Tbilisi to Yerevan until the end of the summer navigation season. Accordingly, the airline will offer passengers two flights a day from Tbilisi to Yerevan,” Georgia’s Civil Aviation Authority said
Besides, starting from July 10, the airline will be operating direct flights from the resort town of Batumi on the Black Sea to Yerevan. The flights will be operated daily until the end of the summer navigation season. The flights will be carried out by Boeing 737, Embraer ERJ190 and CRJ200 aircraft. -0-
