YEREVAN, September 22. /ARКА/. US President Donald Trump congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Armenia's Independence Day, Marked September 21.

"On behalf of the American people and myself, I congratulate you and the Armenian people on Independence Day. The strong ties and shared values between our peoples continue to be the foundation of the unbreakable friendship between our two countries. We will continue to strengthen these ties through our strategic partnership, which will strengthen both countries and create new opportunities for cooperation in important areas such as energy, artificial intelligence, technology, and transit infrastructure," reads the US President's message, the text of which was published on the Armenian Prime Minister's website.

In his message, Trump called it a great honor to meet with Pashinyan on August 8, 2025 (in Washington) to "jointly celebrate our achievements on the path to peace."

"We look forward to realizing the full potential of your remarkable vision for Armenia as a 'Crossroads of Peace' and the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) program, which will symbolize our mutual commitment and deliver real economic benefits," Trump said.-0-
