Law-enforcers terminate criminal prosecution of ex employees of Ministry of Economy after they confess guilt and repent

Armenian law-enforcement bodies have terminated criminal prosecution against a number of persons, who had been accused of commiting a set of abuses in the Ministry of Economy, Armenian Public Television reported, citing Prosecutor General's Office.

Civil Contract will ask court to change preventive measure against head of company and women employees of Economy Ministry

Members of the Armenian Parliament from the ruling Civil Contract party will officially ask a local court to change the preventive measure against the head of Synergy Company Ashot Hovhannisyan and several women with minor children, who were arrested as part of the criminal case initiated against officials of the Ministry of Economy, accused of corruption, Parliament Vice Speaker Hakob Arshakyan told reporters today.
