Armenian Nairi Insurance accused of huge tax evasion

Armenia’s State Revenue Committee said together with the Police it has revealed a gross tax evasion by Nairi Insurance company that has inflicted a damage totaling 200 million drams ($412,300).

Nairi Insurance Co. and the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine located in southern Armenian province of Syunik signed today an agreement on voluntary health insurance of 3.500 employees of Armenia’s largest smelter and their family members – overall some 10,000 people.
