Driving without license contributed to growing number of offenses reported to police in Armenia
Armenian Deputy Police Chief Ara Fidanyan said in parliament today that the total number of crimes reported in the first nine months of 2022 increased by 27% or 5,626 from the year before to 26,489, up from 20,863 reported in the same time span of 2021.

By a vote of 77 the Armenian parliament passed today in the second and final reading a set of amendments and additions to the Criminal Code, the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Law on Citizenship, which criminalize obstruction of election campaigning, coercion to vote and vote buying.
