Streets in central Yerevan to be closed to traffic in connection with Junior Eurovision 2022 song contest opening ceremony

Several streets in Yerevan running to the downtown Republic Square will be closed to traffic from 4 p.m. on December 5 in connection with the opening ceremony of the 20th Junior Eurovision 2022 song contest and the lighting of the Christmas tree, the Armenian police reported.

The total cost of organizing and holding the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan is estimated at nearly 5 billion drams, according to the government's website.
