Armenian government provides all necessary mechanisms for development of free press –Pashinyan

Speaking at the event entitled "Media Freedom as a Cornerstone of Democracy" held within the framework of the second online Summit for Democracy, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said as a former editor-in chief and journalist, he knows full well, from his own experience, the importance of being able to function without interference from the state, since one of the aspects of media was to scrutinize and make public the actions of the government.
