Rusatom Service completes modernization of turbine unit at Armenian nuclear power plant

Rusatom Service, a unit of Russia's Rosatom that services nuclear power plants abroad, said today it has completed the modernization of the equipment of one of the two turbine units at Armenia’s nuclear power plant in Metzamor as part of a project designed to extend the service life of the facility.

New generator and turbine to be installed at Armenian NPP

Areg Galstyan, Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, said today that a new, more powerful generator and a turbine will be installed on the second power unit of the Armenian nuclear power plant as part of a program to extend the service life of the facility for another 10 years.
