June 1 through August 1, in connection with summer holidays, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group will be issuing free cards VISA CLASSIC and MASTERCARD STANDARD.

YEREVAN, July 1. /ARKA/. June 1 through August 1, in connection with summer holidays, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group will be issuing free cards VISA CLASSIC and MASTERCARD STANDARD.

The bank’s press service reports that the cards will be issued without the minimum balance requirement or annual card service fee.

VISA GOLD and MASTERCARD GOLD will be issued without the minimum balance requirement, at a discount of 50% on the annual card service fee.

The Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC (former Areximbank, renamed on June 12, 2009), was founded in August 1998 to support business and serve financial flows between Russia and Armenia.

The bank is a principal member of the VISA International and VISA International and MasterCard International systems.

In 2007, the bank became a member of the ArCa system in the area of acquiring. Last September Gazprombank (Russia) became sole owner of Areximbank by buying out 5.85% of its shares from Raiffeisenbank.
