HSBC Bank was recently awarded "Best Global Bank" in the Euro money Awards for Excellence 2009.

YEREVAN, August 7, /ARKA/. HSBC Bank was recently awarded "Best Global Bank" in the Euro money Awards for Excellence 2009.

HSBC was also named Best Global Debt House and Best Global Transaction Banking House. A press release by HSBC-Armenia forwarded to ARKA says that ‘In a year that has seen financial turmoil worldwide HSBC has remained steadfast. In Euromoney's Awards for Excellence 2009, HSBC has won Euromoney's premier award as Best Global Bank.

Euromoneysaid: "The crisis showed up which banks the markets thought were safest - and HSBC came out firmly on top." Euromoney added that 'HSBC has adopted a clear policy of focusing expansion on emerging markets, and on the international connectivity of those markets with the developed world. It is a truly global bank."
