Ameriabank of Armenia invests 300m drams in technical re-equipping

Ameriabank of Armenia announced completion of technical re-equipping measures that started in October 2008. Investments in the measures totaled 300 million drams, the bank’s press service reported.
YEREVAN, September 10. /ARKA/. Ameriabank of Armenia announced completion of technical re-equipping measures that started in October 2008. Investments in the measures totaled 300 million drams, the bank’s press service reported.
According to the report, the bank’s technical re-equipping project was developed back in March 2008 to ensure provision of up-to-standard services to clients.
In the scope of the project, the bank purchased about 80 items of modern equipment, IBM servers (including IBM Rack and Blade and Storage servers), Dell computers and Cisco networking equipment in particular.
Internal information network is built in the new territory of the bank in line with international standards and based on Molex PM Cat 6e cables and spare parts with 25-year guarantee.
A reserve centre has been created in the bank, equipped with the same equipment as the main one.
The two service centers of the bank are linked through an optic cable belonging to the company and ensuring uninterrupted online communication between the headoffice and the branches.
According to the report, the bank’s specialists attended training courses in IBM, Cisco, Molex PM and Microsoft and received appropriate certificates.
Ameriabank closed joint stock company is an investment bank offering corporate, investments and other retail services in a complex package. Ruben Vardanyan is the Chairman of the bank’s Board of Directors and Artak Anesyan is the Chairman of Directorate and the General Director.
