Some 17,226 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in July 2013 – 2.2% more than in June 2013 and 22.6% more than in July 2012, the State Real Estate Cadastre reports.

YEREVAN, September 2. /ARKA/. Some 17,226 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in July 2013 – 2.2% more than in June 2013 and 22.6% more than in July 2012, the State Real Estate Cadastre reports.
The largest number of deals was registered in Yerevan – 37.2% of the total number in Armenia, and the smallest number in Vayots Dzor province – 2%.
Kotayk province accounted for 16.5% of the total number, Lori for 6%, Gegharkunik for 6.5%, Armavir for 7.7%, Shirak for 4.8%, Aragatsotn for 5.2%, Ararat for 6.5%, Tavush for 3% and Syunik for 4.6% in July 2013.
According to the report, immovable property alienation transactions made up 26% of the total number, primary registration transactions 10%, heritage transactions 10.7%, mortgage transactions 12.7%, leasing 4.4% and other registrations 35.7% in July.
Remarkable is that no privatization deals have been registered in the country since the beginning of this year. —0---
