Armenia’s CB registers new branch of “Armbusinessbank” CJSC – “Kievyan”

The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) registered a new branch of “Armbusinessbank” – “Kievyan.” The CBA press service told ARKA the decision was made by Chairman Tigran Sargsyan.
YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) registered a new branch of “Armbusinessbank” – “Kievyan.” The CBA press service told ARKA the decision was made by Chairman Tigran Sargsyan.
“Armbusinessbank” CJSC (“Arminvestbank” before August 26, 2006) was registered on December 10, 1991. At present the holder of 70% of the Bank’s shares are financial establishments of the Ukraine.
In 2006 Ukrprombank (Kiev) obtained 35% of the participation in the Bank’s capital, the Company “Christie Management” – 30%, insurance company “Alfa-Garant” – 35%.
As of September 30, 2007, the assets of the bank totaled AMD 25.9bln, the total capital – AMD 5.9bln, the authorized capital – AMD 5bln, net income for January-September 2007 – AMD 558.5mln. So far 9 branches of the bank have been functioning. ($1 – AMD 307.15).–0--
