Araratbank issues “Green Line” plastic cards for customs payments in Armenia

Armenia’s Araratbank issued new kind of plastic cards – “Green Line”.

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Araratbank issued new kind of plastic cards – “Green Line”. The Press Service of Araratbank reports that the cards are intended for making prompt and reliable customs payments. The card, opening and servicing of a card account are provided free of charge.
Annual service payment for the card is 10,000 Drams.

According to the report, the plastic card can become a reliable means for legal entities, persons and private entrepreneurs who transport goods through the customs border of the Republic of Armenia.

Clients can use the “Green Line” card to pay taxes and customs dues, make customs payments and other mandatory payments in the customs offices through the branches of Araratbank operating on the same territory.

According to the report, the new cards give an opportunity to effect any non-cash payments and supervise use of company funds.

Araratbank Open Joint Stock Company (assignee of “Armsvyaz” bank) was founded on 02.09.1991. On October 31 1996 the bank was issued a banking license N4.

As of December 31 2007, the bank’s assets totaled 27.8bln Drams with its capital being 4.6bln Drams and the 2007 profit totaling 315.8mln Drams. ($1=308.57Drams). N.V. –0--
