A&M Rare Ltd plans to increase exports of bottled water to EEU

The Armenian government has awarded today the A&M Rare Ltd. a three year VAT payment deferment.

YEREVAN, March 14. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has awarded today the A&M Rare Ltd. a three year VAT payment deferment. This company with foreign capital has been operating in the Kotayk region of Armenia since 2010 producing bottled water.
According to Avag Avanesyan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments, exports of bottled water to Russia and some other members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) by Georgia in 2017 amounted to $45 million, while by Armenia – to $5 million.
He said the company produces annually 1.7 billion drams worth production and is ready to increase exports up to 40 times to $40 million in the next five year. The company plans to create 141 new jobs with an average salary of 422 thousand drams.
"We have a large potential to export both sparkling and drinking water. Moreover, the company plans to receive a certificate for exports to Europe and Arab countries," said Avanesyan. --0--
