All the medical establishments listed for privatization will be privatized, Levon Altunyan, Armenian healthcare minister, told reporters on Thursday.
YEREVAN, July 20. /ARKA/. All the medical establishments listed for privatization will be privatized, Levon Altunyan, Armenian healthcare minister, told reporters on Thursday.
Ten units are subject to privatization.
They are the National Oncology Center, the Scientific Center of Dermal and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Medicine and a number of smaller medical establishments.
Altunyan denied the information released recently by media resources that some of these entities will be removed from the list.
«The medical establishments included in the list must be privatized, since they operate with losses, but if important facts will be presented, we will reconsider our decision,» he said.
He also said that if these medical entities' representatives insist on the opposite, they may privatize them independently and receive profits instead of handing them over to the government. --0----
