YEREVAN, July 12. /ARKA/. On July 9, Ameriabank brought together the winners of the "My Armenia, My Future" student competition.

The competition was held as part of the "My Armenia, My Future" corporate social responsibility campaign, which aimed to identify and reward active, flexible, and innovative students studying at public or private universities in the Republic of Armenia. Based on the results of the competition, 200 students received a monthly stipend of 50,000 Armenian drams for four months of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

For the second year in a row, the "My Armenia, My Future" competition was held jointly with the reArmenia Charitable Foundation. Students from operating public and private universities in Armenia who held a valid Ameriabank Visa Student card at the time of application were eligible to participate. The winners were selected based on a combination of two criteria: their average cumulative academic grade and the results of an intelligence test administered as part of the competition.

The "My Armenia, My Future" competition was first held in 2024. Scholarships were awarded to 160 students from 15 Armenian universities. To date, 360 students representing 18 public and private universities in Armenia have been recognized as winners of the "My Armenia, My Future" competition and awarded scholarships. Additionally, following the 2024 competition, 10 students participated in a short-term educational program at the University of California, Berkeley, and three more received funding to implement their projects.

About the Event

The final event was attended by the winners of the current and previous years' competition, as well as representatives of Armenian universities.

The program was rich, including an interactive panel discussion, speakers sharing success stories, games, and other activities. The focus throughout the day was on Point A—the starting point from which new opportunities and the path to success begin, where important decisions are made.

During the panel discussion, participants were presented with two statements, one of which they could vote on. The speakers then shared their views on these statements. At the end of the discussion, the vote was repeated, allowing for a clearer understanding of how the participants' opinions had changed.

The panel discussion speakers included Anna Vardanyants, Head of Human Resources at Ameriabank; Aram Pakhchanyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ayb Educational Foundation; Narek Safaryan, Founder and CEO of Renderforest; and Ruben Hayrapetyan, Co-Founder and Director of the Matena International School.

Ameriabank's Director of Marketing and Communications, Irina Pyuskyulyan; actor Sos Janibekyan; Head of Branch Network and Contact Center, Andranik Khachatryan; and Alvarium co-founder, Karen Vardanyan, also shared their experiences and success stories.
