Ameriabank's retail loan portfolio has grown by 11% since the beginning of 2026 and exceeded 800 billion drams as of June 30, reported Ameriabank's Director of Retail Banking, Arman Barseghyan.
YEREVAN, July 28. /ARKA/. Ameriabank's retail loan portfolio has grown by 11% since the beginning of 2026 and exceeded 800 billion drams as of June 30, reported Ameriabank's Director of Retail Banking, Arman Barseghyan.
"The bank's mortgage portfolio increased by 12% over the same period and exceeded 400 billion drams for the first time. Over the past five years, our loan portfolio has grown by an average of 30% per year," Barseghyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Responding to a question from ARKA, he said that mortgages and consumer loans accounted for the bulk of the growth in the retail loan portfolio.
According to Barseghyan, the share of non-performing loans remains insignificant. He did not provide a specific figure.
Commenting on the slowdown in mortgage lending, Barseghyan stated that he does not consider it a problem, as purchasing real estate in Armenia remains attractive.
