Ameriabank investing in greenhouse business – 11 million roses grown every year

Ameriabank is financial partner to Armenian Harvest Greenhouse, where 11 million Dutch roses grow every year, the bank’s press office reported on Wednesday. According to the bank’s press release, Armenian Harvest Company established greenhouse business in Goght community in 2014, and grows 25 varieties of Dutch roses here. The company exports the bulk of its output to the CIS countries, particularly Russia and Belarus.

YEREVAN, June 12. /ARKA/. Ameriabank is financial partner to Armenian Harvest Greenhouse, where 11 million Dutch roses grow every year, the bank’s press office reported on Wednesday. According to the bank’s press release, Armenian Harvest Company established greenhouse business in Goght community in 2014, and grows 25 varieties of Dutch roses here. The company exports the bulk of its output to the CIS countries, particularly Russia and Belarus.
“We have started our business under Ameriabank’s financing,” Armenian Harvest Financial Director Narek Ghazaryan is quoted in the bank’s press release. “From the very day of the foundation until now, amid any difficulty, we have been receiving support from the bank, thanks to which we have managed to become a stable, profitable and developing business. Ameriabank is one of investors in our business.”
In his words, the bank is a reliable partner, with which the company will continue cooperating in implementation of projects.
He said the company has potential for building 15 hectares of greenhouses, and it is now negotiating with purchasers for forming a market.
Ghazaryan added that the company will need financing under a new project, and, first of all, the matter will be discussed with Ameriabank.
