YEREVAN, April 30. / ARKA /. Ameriabank is able to provide up to $80 million worth loans a month, but Armenia's economy is not ready for this amount, the bank’s financial director, Gevorg Tarumyan, told a news conference today.

"Our current liquidity is over $80 million. This enables us to provide from $30 million to $80 million worth loans a month but Armenia's economy is not ready to ‘digest’ this amount. This is a problem for other local banks as well,” he said.

According to him, the problem today is attracting ‘good’ borrowers.
