Ameriabank was named the "Best Bank of the Year in Armenia 2020" by The Banker, a reputable publication owned by The Financial Times.
YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Ameriabank was named the "Best Bank of the Year in Armenia 2020" by The Banker, a reputable publication owned by The Financial Times.
According to the bank's press service, Ameriabank has been recognized by The Banker as the "Best Bank of the Year in Armenia' for the seventh time.
At the awards ceremony that took place in London on December 3, the organizers of the competition noted that Ameriabank was recognized as the winner for significant progress it made in a number of areas, for its achievements and innovative approaches.
“Our team has been conducting research among banks for several months, focusing on key performance indicators, development strategies and steps to improve customer service. The “Best Bank of the Year in Armenia” award was given to Ameriabank for sustainable growth, significant steps taken to digitize it services, and for the introduction of new and modern banking instruments,” according to The Banker.
The Banker emphasizes that this year Ameriabank has made a significant contribution to supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Armenia. Particular importance is attached to the process of providing online loans, which allows small and medium-sized enterprises to submit an online application through the scoring system and receive a loan response in a matter of minutes. Ameriabank's online mortgage and car lending platforms were also named as innovative solutions aimed at customer convenience and effective achievement of business goals.
Ameriabank said that The Banker awards are the most prestigious criterion for effective evaluation of the performance of the world's best financial institutions. Banks from more than 100 countries take part in the competition every year.
