Armenia-based Ameriabank said today it was named by German Commerzbank its best trade financing partner for the second time. Ameriabank is the only Armenian bank awarded this prize in 2010.

YEREVAN, December 13. / ARKA /. Armenia-based Ameriabank said today it was named by German Commerzbank its best trade financing partner for the second time. Ameriabank is the only Armenian bank awarded this prize in 2010.

"Ameriabank is the leading bank in Armenia in terms of trade financing expanding cooperation with importers and exporters day after day," the bank said in a news release.

It said in the first 11 months of 2012 the volume of trade financing grew to about 37 billion drams, up fr om 26 billion drams in the 12 months of last year.

"Thanks to trust and appreciation, Ameriabank has won at international market, it continues active collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Netherlands Development Bank (FMO ), the Atlantic Forfaitierungs AG, as well as with German Commerzbank, Citibank, BNP Paribas, UNICREDIT and others; as a result Ameriabank has about $90 million of approved lim its ", the news release said.
