Ameriabank opens new branch in downtown Yerevan

YEREVAN, February 20, /ARKA/. Ameriabank has opened today a new branch in Sayat Nova street in downtown Yerevan. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ameriabank chief executive officer, Artak Hanesyan, said the bank’s branches do not differ fr om its head office no matter wh ere they are. He said the advantage of this particular branch is being located in the central Yerevan.

The new branch has the largest room for deposit boxes which allows a large number of customers to use this service. The branch offers deposit boxes four sizes, including the so-called extra deposit boxes.

Customers can rent deposit boxes for a period of one, three, six months or one year. The room in which the boxes are is under round the clock surveillance and is equipped with modern security systems and fire alarms.

The new branch on Sayat Nova Street will offer its customers a range of services on favorable terms until April 12. These services, in particular, include a free opening of an account for individual customers regardless of the currency and a free connection to online Ameriabank. Also, if an account is opened by a company its three most important managers are given credit cards with free annual service. If a deposit box is rented for a period of 12 months the bank offers a 50% discount.

Hanesyan said Ameriabank plans to open four more branches this year, two in Yerevan, and two in the provinces.

According to Arman Barseghyan, head of retail banking operations, the bank is trying to improve the level of representation in the country both in terms of quantity and qualitative. To date, Ameriabank has five branches in Yerevan and four in the provinces.
