Ameriabank presents MyBusiness.am online platform at Real Business Conference
YEREVAN, 19 October. /ARKA/. Within the framework of Real Business Conference being held in Yerevan on 18-19 October, Ameriabank presented MyBusiness.am online platform created for business clients.
'This is another opportunity to meet with the business community, with our business partners, and also an opportunity to present our business platform that they will be interested in. This is MyBusiness.am platform, where they can learn about the very useful services designed for them and, why not, also generate new ideas for further development of the platform," said Karen Karamyan, head of an Ameriabank unit in charge of developing relations with SME clients.
He noted that the SME sector is strategic for Ameriabank because it is the driving force of development of the economies of the countries. He pointed out that in developed countries the share of SMEs in GDP is 50-60 per cent, while in Armenia this indicator is growing year by year, but still stands at the level of 25 per cent.
As for MyBusiness.am platform, Karamyan noted that thanks to it the clients don't need to visit the bank and they can receive all services online. In his opinion, this is one of the reasons why the SME customer base has expanded about 6 times in recent years, and the loan portfolio has grown about 4 times.
In turn, the head of MyBusiness.am digital platform Arpine Harutyunyan noted that the platform is unique in the market in terms of services offered for businesses, including the service of identifying customer needs.
‘It is not only about financial needs, but also non-financial needs. We want to break a stereotype that a bank is a financial services provider. We want to become a trusted partner for businesses that will be there for us always,’ she said.
Harutyunyan noted that customers can open a business account, apply for a card, get free mobile banking, get a loan, and have access to the entire toolkit of electronic payments, all from any convenient location, according to the "one-stop-shop" principle without visiting the bank.
‘Thanks to MyBusiness.am platform, every fourth customer is an online bank customer, 70% of cards are ordered through our platform, 62% of online banking is activated through the platform, 70% of lending is done through it - these are very impressive figures,’ she said.
Harutyunyan noted that Ameriabank uses online scoring mechanisms with the use of machine learning in order not to burden clients with unnecessary paperwork, which allows making a decision on loan issuance in an online format.
