Ameriabank showcases successfully its scoring system for issuing online business loans at Caucasus 19 conference in Tbilisi

Ameriabank successfully presented today its scoring system designed for providing online business loans to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) at the 5th Regional Conference Caucasus 19 in Tbilisi, organized by the SME Banking Club, the press service of the bank reported.

Ameriabank successfully presented today its scoring system designed for providing online business loans to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) at the 5th Regional Conference Caucasus 19 in Tbilisi, organized by the SME Banking Club, the press service of the bank reported.
It said the organizers of the conference chose the most innovative banks in 2018, which were issued certificates. Ameriabank also received a certificate. Representatives of the bank presented the benefits of the system and the impressive progress made over the 5 months since its introduction.
"Just over 5 months, the share of online business loans provided through the scoring system grew to 89% in the bank’s SME retail lending portfolio, and their number surged to 94%," Ameriabank said in a news release.
The bank recalled that one can apply for online business loans in the amount from one million drams to 10 million drams, which are approved automatically, without having to visit the bank. Moreover, the bank charges no commission for the provision of a loan and no real estate pledge is required. To get a loan, one has to visit the bank's website, fill in an online application and get an answer within 5 minutes.
Customers, who have a bank account, can also sign a loan agreement online, thereby transferring contacts with the bank to the online platform.
