Ameriabank to allocate AMD 100 million for investment and financing of students' projects
YEREVAN, 16 October. /ARKA/. Ameriabank is launching large-scale initiatives as part of ‘My Ameria, My Armenia’ project designed to support various areas of social life and youth development, the bank's press service reported.
‘My Ameria, My Armenia’
Within the framework of ‘My Ameria, My Armenia’ initiative, a voting will be organized, and based on its results AMD 100 million will be allocated from the Ameriabank's corporate social responsibility (CSR) and charity programmes' budget to finance the selected directions.
There will be 8 areas for voting: children's health, education, sustainable development, small and medium business, information technology, science, culture and sports. Voting will take place from 16 October to 31 December, inclusive.
‘My Ameria, My Home’
Until the end of the year Ameriabank will organise a big drawing for current and new clients of the bank who will have an opportunity to win a flat in one of the new buildings in Yerevan.
Until 31 December, customers can accumulate promo codes, which can be obtained in several ways: opening an account with Ameriabank, ordering a card, logging in to MyAmeria, making transactions via MyAmeria, making a payment via MyPay, making a transaction on MyInvest platform and inviting friends to become Ameriabank's clients, getting a mortgage and car loan via online platforms, as well as opening an account on Ameria Business platform.
The more promo codes a customer accumulates, the more likely they are to win a home.
‘My Ameria, My Future.’
Within the framework of the third initiative, Ameriabank and VISA announce a contest for all students of public and private universities in Armenia, where the best youth representatives will have an opportunity to claim prizes:
- 160 scholarships in the amount of AMD 50,000 per month for 5 months during the second 2024-2025 academic term.
- The top ten will have the opportunity to participate in a short-term student programme in one of the best universities in the world.
- The three best projects submitted to the ‘My Ameria, My Future’ competition will receive funding totalling up to AMD 10 million.
Students starting from the 2nd year of study, who are Ameriabank VISA Student cardholders and have an average grade point of at least 65%, but who have passed the tests with the highest grades, can apply for the scholarship.
In order to qualify for project funding or to attend a programme at one of the best universities in the world, it is necessary, among other things, to receive a high evaluation of the project itself, regardless of the grade point average.
The projects will be evaluated by an independent jury consisting of representatives of Ameriabank, VISA and independent experts from various fields.-0-
