YEREVAN, November 17. /ARКА/. During a meeting in Yerevan on Monday, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker emphasized the three memoranda of understanding that were signed between the two nations on August 8, and discussed potential areas for further collaboration.

According to the Security Council press service, in the context of enhancing the bilateral partnership, Grigoryan underscored the necessity of developing trade and economic relations and establishing direct air travel between the two countries.

The participants exchanged perspectives on the peace achieved in the South Caucasus, commending it as a significant milestone. The Security Council Secretary highlighted the importance of institutionalizing the peace process and reiterated efforts to unblock regional communications.

In this regard, the parties deliberated on the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" initiative and the actions being undertaken within its framework.

During a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US President Donald Trump at the White House on August 8, the leaders signed Memoranda of Understanding between the governments of Armenia and the United States regarding "Partnership to Develop the Capabilities of the Crossroads of Peace Project;" "Innovative Partnership in Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors;" and "Partnership in Energy Security."-0-
