Armenia and Kazakhstan consider establishment of regular direct air service

YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. The Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan discussed with his Kazakh counterpart, Head of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev the establishment of regular direct flights between the two countries.
Simonyan, who is in Kazakhstan on an official visit, noted with satisfaction that the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries has a stable character, the press service of the Armenian National Assembly reports.
It said the sides touched upon the regional processes and the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. They also discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of digitalization and information technologies.
The Kazakh speaker welcomed the holding of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) in Armenia in 2026 and noted that Kazakhstan would also take part in that important event.-0-
