Armenia's Digital Oscar Extends Application Deadline; Participation is Now Free (EXCLUSIVE)

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. The application deadline for the Armenia Digital Awards, which will be held in Armenia for the second time, has been extended until the end of September, Yevgeny Mishchenko, co-organizer of the competition and founder of the E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Association, told ARKA news agency.

"We also decided to make participation free. Because, on the one hand, we see small companies for whom every dram counts, but they have something to show. On the other hand, we see large companies for whom the main barrier is the need for lengthy approvals, which reduces the number of participants," Mishchenko said.

Therefore, he said, the decision was made to completely waive the participation fee so that as many companies as possible can share their achievements.

"Furthermore, we've made it possible to nominate any worthy company on the market. For example, if you like a beauty salon website, you can nominate it, and the jury will evaluate it," said the competition co-organizer.

He acknowledged that this approach will increase the number of applications and require a more professional evaluation.

"Therefore, the evaluation will be carried out exclusively by a jury, which we are proud to represent – ​​experts from various countries and industries: all true professionals," said Mishchenko.

He explained that the jury members will leave comments on each application, which can also be shared with the participants, while maintaining the anonymity of the jury members.

Mishchenko stated that the jury will vote until the end of October, and the winners will be announced in early November.
