On Thursday, the Armenian government imposed a 6-month ban on the export of iron and non-alloy steel to third countries.
YEREVAN, December 5. /ARКА/. On Thursday, the Armenian government imposed a 6-month ban on the export of iron and non-alloy steel to third countries.
According to the decision, the ban applies also to semi-finished products made of iron or non-alloy steel, alloy ingots or steel in other primary forms, unprocessed aluminum, aluminum powders and other materials.
The ban comes into force on January 1, 2025 and is valid until July 1, 2025.
The decision also specifies the need to transfer to the Ministry of Economy, the right to issue licenses that regulate the legal relations between the state and economic entities, mutual obligations regarding export of the above-mentioned goods to third countries.-0-
